Cuban Sanwiches on the Run has been a staple to the Longwood/Casselberry area for many years now. They've been a local favorite for ages now. They've specialize in all things fast casual for Latin eats. If you're looking for the traditional cuban sandwich you can't go wrong with theirs as well as their other sandwich options they have available. Other great options include anything out on display such as their empanadas or their fried pork. My favorites include the platter meals of roast pork with rices beans and tostones as well as the grilled chicken. The bottom line, if you're looking for some good latin comfort food then look no further. It's certainly more on the smaller side with a real mom and pop feel to it. As a native to the Casselberry area this is certainly one of my favorites.

Best Cuban sandwich I have had. They also have great pastelitos and quesitos. This place is quick service style and the food comes out pretty quick. The ambiance is pretty casual and functional there is not much decore. The maduros and rice and beans were good as well. Would reccomend trying some of the pastries!

I belive this was formerly named Cuban Sandwiches on the Run and is now just called Cubans on the run - in case anyone gets confused with some other cuban restaurants! I love coming here, we usually make this our work lunch spot at least once a month or twice a month. I really enjoy their hot bar, which yellow rice and black beans and the fresh mojo pork. I also like to get the cuban sandwich, which of course is a classic. Their bread is always so fresh and perfectly pressed. They have a house made hot sauce, which goes perfect on the sandwich and in the rice and beans! The service is quick and friendly. This place is a must stop for an easy, quick, and delicious lunch!

Cuban Sandwiches On the Run is one of my favorite places in Central Florida to grab a hot plate for lunch or dinner. Their hot plates are delicious and you get a good portion of food. Their pastries and baked goods are always fresh and also a must try. You can dine inside, take to go or have it delivered. Everyone here is very friendly and when dining in they make sure to get your food to your table as soon as possible. My favorite hot plate to order is their Chimichurri steak with grilled onions. The steak is great quality so no matter the temperature it's cooked at it's still tender and juicy. The chimichurri sauce is delicious and pairs perfectly with the steak. You get plenty of rice, black beans and plantains to go with your plate which will easily fill you up and satisfy your hunger. The steak and cheese sandwich is another favorite. The bread is toasted nice and crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. The steak is delicious and tender and covered with melted cheese. My favorite baked good to have is their Papas Rellenas. It's fried perfectly and the inside is soft with flavorful ground beef. No matter what I order I've always enjoyed every bite. This is a must try if your in the area.

I went with my friends for a quick bite before a concert, and this was very close to the facility. It was a bit crowded when we arrived, but we were about to order pretty quickly. I had the chicken sandwich (8 dollars) and their homemade tres leches (4 dollars). After ordering, we sat in a table at the small dining room. My tres leches was delivered first and looked small. However, it is a moist and delicious cake with the milk soaked into it. The whipped cream wasn't needed, nor the cherry, but it was a nice gesture. The chicken sandwich came about 5 minutes later, and cut into two. The sandwich was pressed like a cuban, and had decent chicken in a light garlic sauce with mayo and cheese. The sauce was indeed light in flavor, which I would have enjoyed more if it was a bit stronger. There was enough chicken in the sandwich, but it was also pressed as well. The bread seemed a bit crispy, which did poke a bit of my gums. No vegetables like lettuce or tomato were included either. However, it was still a good sandwich for 8 dollars. The service was busy, but as friendly as they could be. You order at the counter, they serve your food, and you put the stuff in the trash when you are done. They call out your name to find you, so I think it would have been better if they had numbers at your table. The atmosphere looks a hole in the wall, with florescent lighting and limited tables. It can get noisy, but there were two tables outside. Parking is very limited, and it can be difficult to find. This restaurant does offer good Cuban food at a reasonable price. It seems to cater more to go, but still has an option to eat inside if you are patient and don't mind the noise. I would visit again for good Cuban food, but most likely take my food home afterwards.

Last stop before we head home. I heard about this place from another restaurant we visited while in Florida. He knew we were on the hunt for the best Cuban sandwich and he recommended this sandwich shop. It's a seriously legit Cuban food frenzy happening right now. My hubby is choosing one of each of everything !!! Well not quite but he would if we lived here. It warms my heart to hear him speak his native tongue to other Cubans. The Cuban sandwich was delish and authentic however it was lacking the pork. One side had one small piece and the other side was lacking the pork. It was still a great sandwich but it should have been filled with all the ingredients. My hubby had chicharron which was amazing, papa rellena which he loved, ham croquetas which were just like his mother use to make and chicken fricasee which was truly authentic. Great little place. Super busy so everything is very fresh. Service was fast as well !!! Highly recommend !!

This is probably my favorite place to grab a casual Cuban meal. The staff are fast, helpful, and nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is decent as well. For my meal, I got the roast pork, which came with beans, rice, and plantains. I also added an arepa de queso. The food was hot and well presented. Everything was absolutely delicious. The pork was rich and tender with a great onion flavor. The rice was fluffy and the beans were savory. The plantains were sweet and perfectly fried. The arepa was gorgeous and so cheesy. The prices are great for the portion size. This is a great local spot that deserves all the love.

First I love a place where you walk in and the food is hot and ready to be served. It's my culture, the aroma alone makes me smile and hungry. The service was quick, you walk in order and sit or take it to go. I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't busy but the to go orders were flying out the door so I know this location can get busy! The environment is laid back it's a small location with seating out front. I had the highly recommended sandwich Brenda's sandwich it was good but I feel like it needed more sauce. The steak was kind of dry but I also went at night so it's possible that's a better lunch sandwich than dinner.
